Kuala Lumpur

The original Bottega, where it all started. We opened here in 2011 inside a former colonial post office on Jalan Ceylon, and this city has been eating with us ever since. Five private dining rooms, a patio that fits 78, and a deli counter stocked with things you won’t find anywhere else in Kuala Lumpur.

Bottega KL FAQs

Yes. Bottega KL offers several private dining spaces perfect for celebrations, business lunches, family gatherings, and special occasions. Whether it’s an intimate dinner or a lively Italian feast, we’ll help make it memorable. Contact us for more information.

Absolutely. We recommend booking ahead, especially for weekends, Aperitivity nights, and larger groups. Reserve online or give us a call and we’ll keep a table waiting for you.

While we don’t have onsite parking, there’s a public car park at the VIDA Building on Jalan Ceylon, just a two-minute walk from the restaurant. A short stroll is a small price to pay for proper Italian food.

No. Bottega KL is not halal certified and serves pork products, including imported Italian cold cuts and deli meats. If you have specific dietary questions, our team will be happy to guide you.

Of course. From fresh pasta and pizza to Italian groceries and wine, you can order takeaway or delivery directly from us.

Smart casual. Come as you are, just maybe leave the football boots at home. We’re warm, welcoming, and proudly Italian, never formal for the sake of being formal.

Yes. Our large covered patio is one of the most popular spots in the restaurant, especially in the evenings. It’s relaxed, lively, and pet-friendly too.

Yes. Bottega gift cards are available and can be enjoyed across our locations. They’re perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, thank-yous, or anyone who deserves a little more Italy in their life.

We’re open on most public holidays, although hours may occasionally vary. We recommend checking our latest opening hours online or giving us a quick call before visiting.

The outdoor dining area offers step-free access. However, indoor dining spaces and restrooms are not fully wheelchair accessible. Please contact us before your visit and we’ll do our best to assist.

Bottega KL is where it all began. Open since 2011 in a former post office building just steps from Changkat Bukit Bintang, it’s our original flagship. Part Italian café, part pizzeria, part neighbourhood grocer, it’s been bringing authentic Italian culture to Kuala Lumpur for over a decade.
